Well, hello there!

My name is Danielle & I lead Simplified Data.

What do I do?

I work with academic and independent health researchers helping you to get confident with using statistics to analyse your data. You can find out more here.

While working on my research, I had to use a statistical test that was unfamiliar to me which led us to contact Danielle from Simplified Data. I found that this method allowed us to ask all the questions we had, and the demonstration on video was especially helpful since we got to ask questions and discuss ideas on the spot which was a good learning experience. The follow-up email helped especially wrap up everything. Now that we’ve covered all the basics about Generalized Linear Models, I feel more confident working on my research due to the help we have received from Danielle. What I liked best was how smooth and simple everything went. Statistics can look daunting to newbies but Danielle provided answers in very simple terms and I would highly recommend contacting her if you need any help with research or statistics.

Who am I?

Simplified Data is led by me, Danielle Bodicoat. I’m an experienced medical statistics consultant.

I’ve got a solid theoretical grounding thanks to a 1st class BSc in Mathematics with Statistics, an MSc in Medical Statistics (Distinction) which I was awarded a scholarship for by GlaxoSmithKline, & a PhD in Epidemiology.

I have over 12 years of applied experience with a proven track record including 80+ peer-reviewed publications (see the full list here).

I’ve spent years designing, conducting and supervising statistical analyses. As well as authoring my own papers, I’ve written and coordinated grant applications that have attracted over £8 million in funding. I’ve also written numerous clinical trial protocols.

I used to be a lecturer so I have lots of teaching experience, and I’ve organised and delivered training days.

I can highly recommend Danielle at Simplified Data, her work is of the highest standard and she delivers her projects at great speed with the highest quality.  She is a pleasure and highly professional to work with.
